Dobby's Socks

We start with some special metal wands called knitting needles and a few balls of yarn which we untangle with (dark magic) a lot of patience.

We use (dark magic) double knitting to make the sock thick and sturdy enough even though it's made of only one layer of knitting, and also to create colourful stripes.

When the sock is ready, we tie the two ends of yarn together to make a loop from which the keys will hang. This also means there's only one pair of ends to weave in (ok, we do admit this is dark magic, but it's totally harmless, we promise)

There are different colours and designs, because we know no Dobby fan would want two of the same sock
